Golden Girl

I can always rely on my favorite cleaning crew member for a compliment on my outfit. He said I looked like a "golden ray of sunshine" today. Not only does he dish out the compliments -- he always makes them unique and descriptive. Gotta love that.





It's supposed to get up to 70 degrees today and it's a short week for me. I think I might smile the rest of the week.

Something crazy happened early Saturday morning. I was overcome with the desire to purchase clogs. I know, I know.

I still can't believe I took the plunge and ordered those, but I really can't wait to try them.

Then Sunday, I fell prey to Bloomingdale's F&F sale. I mean, it was the *last* day of the sale! Oh, the pressure.

I had been searching for cognac sandals all season and the Tory Burch Jodie is pretty much what I have been seeking. High yet manageable heel, soft leather ... I just hope these are not too similar to the clogs. I am going to need some opinions.

And finally, some flat sandals for the hubby, but for me. Hee. He does not like it when we are out and about and I am in heels because he says I "walk too slow."

I chose the Steve Madden Saahara. It comes in suede, which might be more comfy, but I really wanted the snakeskin look. I have my fingers crossed here for comfort. Please, please, please!
